LCM at KU is a Reconciling in Christ community. All are welcome regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual preference, gender identity, age, or disability.
Thanks to everyone who walked, donated cookies (and other food), sponsored walkers, and helped in many other ways to make this year’s Rock Chalk LCM Walk a rousing success. This year for the first time, the walk was a scavenger hunt. Participants found the names of butterfly bushes, graves in Pioneer Cemetery, words in Shona and more as we explored the KU campus. Afterwards we ended we a great meal and (another) celebration of Marshall’s birthday!
Thanks to your support, this year’s walk raised more than $4100 for Lutheran Campus Ministry. This money helps provide programming, free coffee, and more to a growing community of students. Thank you!
Please pray for Lutheran Campus Ministry as we dedicate Westwood House to the glory of God! The Dedication of Westwood House and Celebration of the 50 (and more!) years of Lutheran Campus Ministry is Sunday April 14th. The celebration starts with an Open House at 2:00 p.m. Worship is at 3:00 p.m. with a picnic following. Parking is available in the South Robinson lot at 18th and Naismith. Please walk from there (two blocks) if you are able.
If you can’t make the event, we invite you to watch online. This link will open up a new window with streaming video of the Dedication.
